Mowa Li is responsible for evaluating new development opportunities and managing ongoing projects from inception through completion with the acquisition and development team. Prior to working at Hudson, Mowa was a Development Associate at Magellan Development Group based in Chicago, supporting the development of mixed-use multifamily, hotel, and lab/office development across the country. She also sat on the Affordable Requirement Ordinance task force under Mayor Lori Lightfoot to advise on updating Inclusionary Housing policy in Chicago. Mowa is a ULI member. She earned her bachelor's degree in Growth and Structure of Cities at Bryn Mawr College, and her master’s degree in urban planning with a focus on Public Private Development at the University of Pennsylvania.
