Aaron Koffman is a Senior Advisor to the Hudson Companies and is committed to the preservation and development of affordable housing. Aaron led Hudson’s award-winning affordable ventures for 15 years, serving most recently as President. During his tenure, he led the rezoning of almost 5 million SF – mostly for newly-constructed affordable housing, retail and community space - completed 2,300 apartments and mobilized over 5,000 more in construction or pre-development. In 2023, Aaron was selected as an inaugural member of the Brooklyn Power List by the publishers of Brownstoner and AM New York. Aaron is a certified Volunteer Firefighter who earned his Bachelor of Arts in Economics from UC Berkeley and his Master of City Planning from MIT. Aaron serves on the Boards of the NYU Furman Center, Hivewild, NYSAFAH and Coro New York.
